What is the paying method?
HelloFresh accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal.
What is the delivery policy?
- You must live in HelloFresh delivery area to order.
- Please take care when specifying your delivery address as refunds will not be given if you enter an address incorrectly.
- Delivery windows vary by location. If you will not be home please make an alternative arrangement and leave specific delivery instructions on the checkout page for their drivers to follow.
- Ownership of the products will transfer to you once they have delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.
- HelloFresh cannot commit to a smaller delivery window. They will try to accommodate, but cannot guarantee special requests.
When will my box get delivered?
Your box will be delivered on your selected delivery window you have selected on your account. Depending on where you live, there will be different delivery options available to you. To check your selected delivery window, log in to your online account and click on the delivery calendar.
What if I’m not home to accept the delivery?
No problem, When confirming your order, you can provide HelloFresh with instructions on a safe place to leave your box if you’re not at home to accept your delivery.
Will the contents of my box remain fresh if I’m not in to accept the delivery?
Don’t worry if you’re not home - all of HelloFresh boxes are packaged using speciality insulation and cool packs in order to keep your groceries fresh (whatever the weather). As long as you are able to transfer the contents to your fridge once you are home to unpack your delivery, everything will still be fresh and delicious.
Are the ingredients organic?
All of HelloFresh ingredients are sourced from ethically responsible suppliers and they will always source produce from New Zealand where possible. At this stage, although some of HelloFresh suppliers are certified as organic, this isn’t the case across all of their produce, and they are unable to make that commitment. If a product is organic, it will say so on the packaging.
I didn’t receive the recipe cards. What do I do?
Oops! Sometimes HelloFresh make mistakes and they apologise that you didn’t receive your recipe cards this week.
Don’t worry - the recipes are available online, so you can view and even print them out. Just select ‘This Week’ in the ‘Our Recipes’ menu on the homepage to find what you are looking for. Alternatively, download the HelloFresh app, which also has the recipes and cooking method listed.
Do I have all the necessary equipment to cook?
HelloFresh like to keep things simple, so they will do their best to limit utensils to the basics. HelloFresh’s pretty sure you’ll have all the things you need in your kitchen. Where possible, they provide an alternative so you can still create their delicious recipes even if you don’t have some of the required equipment.
Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?
At this stage, HelloFresh offer boxes for meat-eaters and vegetarians. HelloFresh think nailing their core product is the most important thing before adding new boxes to the mix. But don’t worry - it’s definitely on their radar.
HelloFresh do have a lot of customers with strict dietary requirements who still use them and substitute certain ingredients from their own cupboard to cater to their needs. It’s pretty easy to do as they send you all of the ingredients portioned out so that you can easily swap something out from the recipe and put in what you need.
